Our A2 Vedic Ghee is an Ayurvedic Superfood made using ancient techniques of Ayurveda, where milk is converted into curd and then churned to obtain makhhan (butter). At the time of dawn just the makhhan is heated over cow dung cake chulla to make Ghee.
Our Cows are fed with ayurvedic herbs like Shatavari, Ashwagandha, Giloy, etc. to enhance the properties of ghee.

FAQs

Q. How is Vedic ghee different from regular A2 ghee?

A. While both come from A2 milk, Vedic Ghee goes a step further. The cows are not just grass-fed—they’re nourished with medicinal herbs known in Ayurveda to enhance the sattvic (pure) quality of milk. The preparation process is also rooted in Ayurvedic principles, often using earthen pots or cooking over cow dung cakes for better energy retention.

Q. Is Vedic ghee safe for everyday use?

A. Absolutely. In fact, it’s encouraged in small daily quantities. A spoon of Vedic ghee can be drizzled over your food, had with warm water in the morning, or used in Ayurvedic detox practices like snehapana or nasya.

Q. What kind of cows is your Vedic ghee made from?

A. Our Vedic ghee is made from the milk of indigenous Indian desi cows, known for their hump-backed structure (Surya Ketu Nadi) and ability to produce A2 milk. These cows are naturally more resistant to disease and are not crossbred or injected with hormones ensuring purity and bioavailable nutrition.

Q. What is the role of Ayurvedic herbs in the cow's diet?

A. Cows are fed herbs like Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Giloy, and Tulsi — not just for their health, but because these herbs infuse the milk with medicinal properties. Ayurveda believes that when cows consume these herbs, the ghee made from their milk carries their benefits too, making it a therapeutic food rather than just a fat.

Q. Is Vedic ghee suitable for people with cholesterol concerns?

A. Vedic ghee, when consumed in moderation, may actually support heart health. It contains good fats (omega-3 and omega-9), CLA, and antioxidants. Unlike processed fats, Vedic ghee is believed to help regulate lipid metabolism and reduce inflammation. However, if you have a medical condition, always consult your doctor first.
